How to become an SIA member

Membership of the SIA is available in 4 categories as follows:

SIA Member – manufacturers, distributors and suppliers of stoves (both space heaters and boiler stoves), flue and chimney products, component parts, and fuel.

SIA Associate Member – stove and fireplace retailers with physical showroom premises in the UK (Associate Members are known as SIA Retail Group members).*

SIA Stakeholder Member – advisory, notified and certification bodies, sweep associations and other interested parties.

SIA Supporter Member – stove and fireplace retailers or installers.*

*To qualify for membership as an SIA Associate Member the applicant must have physical retail showroom premises in the UK. Installers may apply as an SIA Supporter Member providing they are a member of a recognised solid fuel competent person scheme where applicable for their country of operation.
